They're either from unicef or etsy. And, I too have pared my list in half. The holidays seems to warrant a more intimate connection. So, no more signing my name and stuffing it in an envelope. I write a note, send a family photo, make a little connection.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08425809129458460775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36936171259835220.post-90426615644792049292008-11-13T06:21:00.000-06:002008-11-13T06:21:00.000-06:00thoughtful post--and i do send cards, always have....thoughtful post--and i do send cards, always have. i have always done a caricature family portrait of what our family is up to and it cracks people up so that encourages me to keep sending them ;-)

i have always written notes, too...i love getting them as well...and hate the ones that are store bought and just signed...i want more!Mary Richmondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12987381109911597964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36936171259835220.post-15426764015685727462008-11-12T23:18:00.000-06:002008-11-12T23:18:00.000-06:00There is nothing more special than personalized ca...There is nothing more special than personalized cards, I love getting them:)My Inspired Realityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02610154453483501699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36936171259835220.post-43070511215352189532008-11-12T22:06:00.000-06:002008-11-12T22:06:00.000-06:00Interesting post. My hubby and I take a day and do up the cards and we have a good time doing it--attaching pics of the kids. We both come from large families and this is a way that we have at least one point of contact each year. So far, it's not a chore, but a joy!

Smiles, KarenMrs.Kwittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01705302949128942627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36936171259835220.post-19845335955734624562008-11-12T21:03:00.000-06:002008-11-12T21:03:00.000-06:00great thought provoking post... I give cards to people close to me because well they're close to me and I think handmade or even a unique scribble is jsut for them! Your handmade cards sure look better then my construction paper cards... lolol..LiPeonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01625808606899763475noreply@blogger.com
