I think it's just because we don't know what to expect. We've always had puppies and Georgia is a year old already. She's had a rough life and it will take time for her to feel comfortable in our home.
We are hoping for a fairly smooth transition. I'll let you know later tonight or in the morning how things are going. Isn't she just so cute?

She looks very snuggly! -I don't know if thats a word or not- but she just looks really sweet to me.
She looks so cute! We had 2 rescues. One was a welsh terrier (doggy heaven) and Kelly our lakeland terrier. I would do rescue again in a heartbeat and would like to do an elderly next time. Even though my time will be short with them.
I have my fingers cross all will go as smoothly as possible.
Where did you get her from?

she is so sweet! you're in for some fun times at georgia's new home! sophie is a rescue dog and the greatest disposition ever.
Ah she's adorable and you're wonderful for rescuing her! I hope the transition is seamless. Somehow, I think it will be. Or even if not, she'll have a loving parent. :)
