Oh Baby!

Okay, so I made my first purchase for my "not due to arrive until September" Grandson. Are these not just the cutest little things? Of course, I didn't find these darling little camoflage socks at Walmart or Target....oh no, I found them at a little boutique in Chicago on Saturday! I think this could be trouble!

A few weeks ago, Tresa was in the same boutique and saw a darling little boy outfit. At the time she didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, so she didn't buy it. Well she bought it Saturday! Isn't this darling?

Look at the precious little owl!

I really think I am going to get myself in BIG trouble.....but my thought is that if I buy something every week or two now....I'll have a nice little collection of goodies when the showers start to roll around. Not sure what my excuse will be after he arrives and I'm still buying something every week or two!

Oh Kathy this is wonderful news! Congrats!!! I am so happy for you and the socks are adorable. In your future I see a lot of shopping for this little lucky guy that soon will be here before you know it.

I was unable to have children, but I get so excited and my heart dances when I hear the arrival of a little one. They are truly a blessing my friend. BIG hugs n' kisses....xo

hahaha! welcome to grandmotherhood and grandmother shopping! the little baby things are sooooo sweet and after all, they mess all their clothes about every 10 minutes, right? just watch out for the really small newborn stuff--they last only about a week unless the baby is really tiny ;-)

teeheehee--- so much fun!!! brings back so many wonderful memories--they grow so darn fast--much faster than our own did ;-) mine are now 3 and 5 and it seems like forever since they were babies....

Little boy things are so much cuter now than they were when my son was born almost 40 years ago.

Have a ball shopping for the new little one. My excuse has always been - but they're only little once or they'll only be 1 once . . . or 2 once. . . you get the idea.
