Now to today's post....
What do dreams mean? Have you ever tried to figure them out or bought a book that analyzes dreams? I know they say that everyone dreams, but for years now I haven't been able to remember my dreams, until this past week.
The other night I dreamed that I was in the house and I heard a kitten crying in pain outside in the backyard. I ran outside and there was my tiny little kitten lying injured on the ground in front of this big mean ugly cat. The big cat was trying to kill my kitten and I was horrified. (No idea why my little kitten was outside by itself)
The big cat looked like across between an ordinary house cat and a bob cat. (I live in Illinois and we don't have bob cats here....or mean giant sized house cats either)
As soon as the evil cat saw me, it grabbed my little kitten and ran into the back yard. I kept yelling at it to drop the kitten, but it wasn't listening to me. (Go Figure) I ran after it, screaming and then it jumped over the chain link fence and stood in the neighbor's yard taunting me with the kitten hanging lifeless in it's mouth!
I quickly climbed over the fence. (As quickly as a 57 year old not very limber old lady can climb a chain link fence) I had a dish towel in my hand (Can you believe that?) and I started snapping the towel at the cat. About this time Matt came running out of the house. He had a little box in his hand (No idea why), but he easily jumped the fence and started stomping the ground trying to scare the cat.
The cat finally dropped the kitten and ran away. Matt carefully picked the poor little injured kitten up and put it in the box and I woke up!!
So, what on earth does that mean? Here are my thoughts:
1) A hairy beast is trying to steal one of my "babies"?
2) There is a hairy beast lurking in my "backyard"?
3) I shouldn't leave things I love in the backyard unattended?
4) I want a new kitten?
5) I'm just really weird and dream some really weird things?
I'll go with #5!

Maybe it means that you are paying attention to one shop over the other shop...or paying attention to your shops more than (lets say) Irv...or maybe you see Tresa's fiance as the big cat...hmmm we need to figure out who the big cat really is...
The big cat represents someone i think........cast an eye over your friends and family and see if any of them have a tail poking out from behind them LOL
Just kidding. Some dreams are odd are'nt they? I hope you solve the mystery.
:)
Maybe it's about fear of loss. I have had more than one dream where I turn down my street to see a "for sale" sign in front of my house. My mother attributes all my dreams to the fact that "you didn't get enough to eat as a baby."
I agree that the big cat represents someone. But, you know, dreams are so weird. I think that sometimes they are formed from your inner worries or thoughts and sometimes they're just screwy combinations.
The other night I dreamed I was the Obama's nanny. Go figure. It was the night after the inauguration.
Wierd, but interesting dream:) I have some rather strange ones all the time. I have a friend who is into deciphering dreams, so I shall ask her about yours:):)
I love my dreams-- they're almost like stories.
haha! I love silly dreams! I think they can mean diff things going on w/ our subconscious..but mostly I think our brains are defragging at night and all sorts of crazy stuff comes up lol!
I once dreamt about a dead cat in the hat in my backyard tree and superman gave me a lift up to see if he was okay. Now please tell me my brain was just defragging because I don't even want to know that dream meant on a subconscious level lol!
I don't know if I told you on twitter yet or not but I've got an award for you on my blog here enjoy!
