Tiger, Tiger, Tiger

You had me thinking that a wealthy, professional athlete really can be a good guy too. You had such confidence, but yet you seemed so "real" and down to earth. I never watched golf on TV until you came along. I was in awe of your talent. I enjoyed watching you play and listening to your interviews.

I admired your talent, but I didn't follow your personal life. I don't follow the personal lives of any famous people, because I really don't care what they are doing or not doing, or who they are doing or not doing. They are just regular old people that happen to be talented, or rich, or famous or all of those things. Anything beyond their talent doesn't interest me.

Tiger the golfer is amazing....Tiger the man is just a cheat like thousands of other men and women that don't take their marriage seriously.

I have never understood infidelity. If you don't love your spouse or respect your spouse any more...why not do the right thing and get a divorce? Maybe I just live in my own little perfect world. I just don't understand how anyone could do that...and live that lie for as long as some of them do. How do they look at themselves in a mirror?

There is such debate over the private lives of the rich and famous....are they allowed to have private lives or are they required to live publicly because of who they are? I wish their private lives could be private, but our society loves the "dirt" so that will never happen.

I have no idea what will happen to Tiger and his family, but because they are human beings and I wish no ill toward anyone, I hope they are able to figure things out and move on with their lives whether that be together or apart.

I believe that we--as in society--focus too much on the private lives of everyone--celebrities most of all. And for some reason we hold celebrities at a higher standard than everyone else.

I would hate to be a celebrity. It can't possibly be worth the money to give up your privacy and to not even have an argument without it becoming front-page news. I just read paramedics were called to Tiger's house again. I pray for the family.

I really have been reading your posts, just not enough time to comment until now. I don't know why people can't just leave celebrities alone. It's just sad!

Oops! Forgot to say how much I love the clock you made.

I guess I live in that world too :) I believe if you want to cheat...get a divorce.

Every single boyfriend I had before Aubrey was a cheater. It always amazed me that I was the last to know. I always asked them the same thing when I found out "Why didn't you just break up with me?"

Seems simple to me. If you want someone else, let go of me first. I just don't get it.

I feel sorry for Tiger's wife and children. I would have probably done some damage with a golf club too!

It's all so sad. When men betray their families like that, they're behaving like self-indulgent weaklings. I probably didn't need to know that Tiger was just another cheater, but I still would want to know he wasn't deserving of my respect.

I'm disappointed in him, too. It's so classless what he did. And fidelity does NOT get enough good press--lots of people, famous, infamous, and unknown, do that hard work every day. We should credit that more.

I am very tired of hearing about this in the news. Four police officers were executed last week in Washington, and were buried yesterday and today. And what is all we see on TV? Tiger Woods.
It disgusts me, and is yet another reason why I have little respect for the media.
