What Do You Think?

My daughter-in-law, Bernadette sent me a text last week and asked if I would like the comforter set from their spare bedroom. I was a little confused because she had just bought it recently. I thought maybe she meant a different set, but nope, that was the one she meant. She decided it was darker than what she wanted.

I had planned to paint our bedroom this spring and was debating what look I wanted to go for this time around. I was thinking something blue, or yellow or green or a mix. Well here is the comforter and sheets!

I will be going with blue and green! How awesome is that? She gave them to me Saturday. They are just so perfect....now I can't wait to start painting. Not sure what color to do the walls....I'll need to drag out my hundreds and hundreds of color charts again! What do you think? Mossy green? Light blue? White? Your thoughts?

Ooooo, that is so pretty! I think your walls would look great in several colors - light blue, light green, white... What fun! You are inspiring to maybe tackle our bathroom and bedroom. They so need painting... Have a great day!! Love, Silke

Very pretty. Those colors would really pop against a soft white or off-white wall. Hey, isn't Angela the one with the interior design degree?

It so pretty! Our quilt has similar colors in it and I have really enjoyed it. My walls are a dark khaki color. We got our paint at Lowe's (Valspar) and I believe it is called "Mark Twain House" I used 2 different shades from the same card in our house and I can't remember which is which.

Also, not sure if you have a Sherwin-Williams or not but they carry a beautiful color called "Latte" that looks beautiful with everything! Good luck! Oh and what color room did Bern have it in?

I'm with Lanyardlady. I think a soft or off-white would be lovely. Whatever you choose I'm sure will be great and we'll need to see photos of the makeover.

Lovely!! I say paint the walls a bit lighter than that olivey green color. Your room is going to be gorgeous!

I was thinking that maybe the lighter yellow-green color on the comforter leaves would be good.
I've made some disastrous choices in choosing paint colors however, so take my opinion with a grain of salt!

I like Angela's suggestion.
Our painting job recently used Home Depot (Behr paint) of Pale Bamboo and Navajo White (which is actually a yellow). Both of these colors would work too.
Good luck and have fun!

What the heck do I know about interior decorating? Or exterior for that matter?? But my eyes suggest you go with either a yellow, or an eggshell color. Now, if you do decide to go with one of these and don't like it.... I was just kidding. LOL
