Touching Base

Just checking in...

The garage sale ended up just a little short of my goal. It really wasn't bad since we didn't have any "big" items. It's was all little stuff so I'm happy with how it went. We decided that we are going to do it again in a few weeks and see if we can sell a bit more. I know.....what are we thinking?

Thanks for the feedback on our Vintage idea. Today one of my co-workers said that she and her sister are having a garage sale in a couple of weeks. She said she thought I might be interested since they are selling a lot of their mom's things. Do you think it's a sign? HAHA! I think I might just pay their sale a little visit and see what I can find.

Tresa went to the doctor today and has gained another 6 pounds. I had to laugh...she said she got in the car thinking 6 pounds in a month wasn't bad until she remembered that she just saw the doctor TWO weeks ago this time! Now she is worried about her weight. The doctor didn't say a word. She is seven months and she has gained 24 pounds. I can't wait to see her this weekend!

Well, that's it for now. I hope everyone is well. I'll be catching up with all of your blogs over the next few days! Make tomorrow the best day ever!

I bet she looks just wonderful, Kathy.

Best of luck with your next sale. I hope it's a cool day.

She's a healthy momma carrying a healthy baby! She shouldn't worry about her weight unless the doctor says to. Oh yes, you must go to the garage sale. As a fan of "Antiques Roadshow," it excites me to think of the treasures you might find.

sounds like a pretty healthy weight gain for this stage in her pregnancy. it's the last 3-4 weeks where she'll hope she doesn't gain very much. oh - my - goodness! i remember those days!

good luck with the next sale. let us know how the "vintage hunt" progresses.

That must be so exciting, following your daughter's pregnancy...I can't wait to see the next picture of her.

Keep us posted on Etsy plans. I need to get some more of my mom's things listed. I think vintage does pretty well. Take care ~Natalie

If the doctor isn't concerned I don't think she should be concerned.

That garage sale sounds like fun!

Hi Kathy, I'm glad you managed to sell some of your stuff, this is the one time when gaining weight is permitted and as long as she is healthy and the Dr. is happy that o.k Can I please come to the garage sale with you it sounds good.

Ah, weight, shmeight. She'll lose it chasing a baby around!
Well, a small dent is a dent, right?

Sounds like things are progressing nicely. That "baby-weight" will come off quickly when the baby comes. For now, just let her glow!
