Why is it that as we age our skin gets thinner and our hair gets thinner, but out bodies do just the opposite? Doesn't seem quite fair does it?
I use to buy Clinique, but I rarely get to the department store to buy it, but maybe I'm going to have to.
Ultimately, I would love a natural, non-chemical mascara that stayed on, didn't clump and didn't cost $30 a tube, but at this point I think I would slap the chemicals on my lashes if I could find a good one that didn't make me look like I had hairy spider legs attached to my eye lids.
Just a nice soft natural look.....
Mascara wearers.....whatcha got for me?

This is most definitely my all-time favorite mascara:

And before this I had used the same one for like ten years and this one was so good I switched. I love it!
I am not at home right now and I can't remember what it is called...but I can describe what it looks like. I do know that it is Mabelline(sp?) or cover girl or one of those because I got it at Wal Mart. (I can't do the high dollar stuff either) It comes in this tube that is half white and half black. There is a wand on each end. You put the white stuff on first...let it dry then you put the mascara on top of that. It makes my lashes look really long! I have heavy eye lids and I need all the help I can get!
Check out MossCara by Aveda. Or MAC has a brand with fibers in it. I've tried both and was happy with each. Thanks for your comment on my blog. By the way, I have a coupon on my blog for Aveda. I posted it yesterday or the day before. Have a great weekend!
Nothing to offer here as I don't use mascara. But I could def use a makeover.
The kind Angela was talking about is Maybelline's Intense XXL Volume+length. I use that and it's really good. Another good one is LOreal's Volumenous mascara. I'm a fanatic about mascaras. I've tried almost all of them. One thing I do believe is, you don't have to spend a lot to get a good mascara. I've tried expensive ones that were awful.

I agree with Nancy - you do not need to spend a lot - I use (depending on which one is on sale) Maybelline, Cover Girl and Neutragena and like them all. I have very light colored lashes too and buy the brown/black rather than the black cause I think the black is too drastic.
Sorry... being the infrequent wearer of makeup that I am, I have no good mascara advice for you. :) It just runs when you raft anyway-- heh heh.
But... I did want to thank you for your comment and mentioning Eckhart Tolle-- been on my "to read" list for far too long now... hoping to remedy that in Sept! Glad to hear you enjoyed though. Good luck with the mascara! ;)
LOL - I thought of you today as I purchased mascara. Noticed in the Rite Aid weekly circular all Almay eye cosmetics were 30% off and I had a $1 coupon too!
