He is back safe and sound. They hiked up the mountain and gained 3000 feet it elevation. It took about 4 hours. At times they lost the trail and had to find it again. There were still 15 foot drifts in places. He had a great time and he is exhausted. He said it was awesome and he's going to post pictures on Facebook. Now he has to go work at a festival until midnight!

Ah the energy of youth! Wow, they are fit. I can hardly get over them climbing to the top of that cliff let alone whizzing down on snowboards:)
He is so adventurous! Does he get it from you or Irv?
I was a tomboy but only into climbing trees. Irv was a great water skier, but that was it. Matt was always like this. He started riding a 2 wheel bike a week before he turned 4! Stitches, broken bones, bruises and scars.....that's my boy!
Wow, to be young and adventurous again! Glad he was safe and your little mommy heart can stop jumping a beat!
